ABOUT MMCF

The Foundation was set up by Matt Murdoch's friends and family in association with Rotary, in his memory following his death in 2014.

Matt was a past President of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club, a three-time national champion and captained the 2012 Rotary tour of Canada. A passionate curler all his life, he had contributed much to the success of junior curling in Scotland and support for and funding of the Foundation is a fitting tribute to his memory.

The trustees are delighted to continue to offer young Scottish curlers world class opportunities in their sport, with the aim of encouraging continued youth involvement and development in curling. The young people who have benefitted from the support of the foundation have returned from their opportunities enthused by the friendships they have formed, and have become ambassadors within the sport.
